Annapolis' Market House: Eco-Center?

For those who may not be familiar with the AEC, the mission of the City’s volunteer Environmental Commission, which is appointed by the Mayor is “to protect and improve the natural health and welfare of the environment of the City of Annapolis through public education, community service, and participation in environmental policy.”

Sounds interesting, even catchy today; but is this a concept with long-term sustainability? How is the "business" funded; tax payer dollars? Simply put, is this what you want in the Market House?

We like the idea, but there are many questions still needing answers. Let your opinion be heard, by commenting below. We'll forward you're responses to the AEC and the Mayor. If you would like to respond directly to the Mayor, you can do so at Mayorcohen.com or contact the AEC at Environment@Annapolis.com. You can read all 15 proposals at Annapolis.gov, which has a new-look website.
