Restaurant takes tequila out of the shot glass, puts it next to fine food

You know, so many people have a tequila horror story from their college days, and that makes them shy away from the liquor. I am not one of those people. Give me some salt and a lime wedge, and I'm a happy girl. But I digress.

Take a look at this five-course menu:

Course 1: Squash Blossom Quesdailla paired with Paton Silver Paloma

Course 2: Tempura-battered Soft Crab with Avocado Mousse and Tomato Rice paired with Patron Reposado Tequila and Patron Reposado Sangria (a two-for-one pairing!)

Course 3: Salad of Watermelon, Queso Fresca, Pistachios, Dates and Mint, paired with Pyrat XO Reserve

Course 4: Rum Sugar Can Syrup-glazed Pork Tenderloin with Mango Salsa (I'm now drooling over my keyboard)

Course 5: Citronage Flavored Flan with Chocolate Sauce paired with Patron XO Cafe Liqueur.

As you can imagine, this five-course meal doesn't come cheap - it's $85 per person. They ask that you make reservations by Aug. 18, so you have just under a week to decide if you want to part with the cash. Call 410-647-7363 to make reservations or to ask a few more questions.
