All three senior trial attorneys of the Jaklitsch Law Group, Richard Jaklitsch, Deborah Potter, and Robert Zarbin, have again been included in the latest Maryland Super Lawyers listing. All three attorneys continue to hold their AV Rating from Martindale-Hubbell—reserved for only the top 1 percent of attorneys in the United States—and all three were again listed this year in the Bar Registry of Preeminent Lawyers in America.

Rick Jaklitsch has been repeatedly listed in Who’s Who in American Law and is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. He served for many years on the board of governors of the Maryland Trial Lawyers’ Association and holds a perfect 10.0 rating from, an internet lawyer rating service. He was selected by Governor Ehrlich to serve on the Judicial Nominations Commission. He earned his undergraduate and law degrees with honors through the University of Maryland and is a past President of the Terrapin Club.

Debbie Potter is one of Maryland’s Top 100 Women. She is a terrific trial lawyer, as acknowledged by judges and opposing lawyers alike, who consistently obtains verdicts many times more than the insurance companies’ pre-trial offers. She serves as a Trustee at the University of Maryland College Park and on the Alumni Board of Maryland’s Law School, where she graduated with honors. She was the youngest President ever of the Anne Arundel Bar Association and was appointed by Maryland’s highest court to its prestigious Rules Committee.

Robert Zarbin, also a top-rated trial attorney, is the current President of the Maryland Association for Justice. He works tirelessly for the passage of legislation which helps to protect people injured as a result of the wrongful acts of others. Zarbin was also appointed by Maryland’s highest court to sit on the peer review panel for the Attorney Grievance Commission. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Loyola College and his law degree from Loyola University.

Andrew Narod, who graduated cum laude from American University’s School of Law and received his undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland, is admitted to the bar in Virginia and Maryland.

While all those awards, top ratings and honors are nice, the firm receives even greater satisfaction from referrals from previous clients. “Most of our business comes from referrals from our prior clients, as well as from opposing lawyers who see us in action,” says Jaklitsch. “We believe it is a great testament to the abilities of our lawyers when those who know us best refer injured family and friends to our firm when they are injured. We work hard to reward that trust.”

The Jaklitsch Law Group was founded to ensure that no matter which lawyer handles your personal injury case at our firm, you can rest easy that your lawyer will be respected by the insurance company and the trial judges.
