Licorice, Gumdrops, and Love for Luca

four-year-old, Annapolis native who has fought a rare type of cancer for multiple years. The “Love for Luca” event will stage on Saturday, March 26, 2011 from 6-9pm at Old South Country Club, 699 Marlboro Road, Lothian, MD.
This candy-inspired themed cocktail affair will be accompanied by passed hor’dourves and a silent auction that will include items from Towne Park (www.townepark.com), Lotus Therapeutic Massage (www.lotusofannapolis.com) and The Washington Redskins Cheerleaders. Hundreds of Annapolis’ key socialites, local media, and members from the
renowned John’s Hopkins medical research team will be in attendance to show their support in the fight against childhood cancer.
Tickets are $100 per person and may be purchased at: www.loveforluca.org. All proceeds from this event, including ticket sales and silent auction will be donated by, Luca Assante to The Johns Hopkins Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center Musculoskeletal Tumor Research Program.
This event is made possible by several area businesses who have chosen to help take a stand against childhood cancer. The “Love for Luca” organization wishes to recognize this years event partners: Old South Country Club, The Italian Market, Chic Communications, Towne Park and WRNR Radio.
