Another weekend is upon us, and so is another series of fortunate events ...

For the Kids …
Do your little ones love the little blue engine that could? Take them to the B&O Railroad Museum today, tomorrow or Sunday to take a ride on the one and only Thomas the Tank Engine, meet Sir Topham Hat, and enjoy games and activities, and fun. Get your tickets at ticketweb.com/dowt, borail.org.

For the Grownups …
Life is sweet. Celebrate it at the Sweetlife Festival at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia. See the Strokes, Lupe Fiasco, Ra Ra Riot and several more bands perform. Enjoy grub from local farmers too and meet like-minded hippie folk.

For the Whole Family…
Attend the AACSPCA Walk for the Animals and help raise funds to help homeless dogs, cats, and other animals. Check out animal related vendors and bring your furry friend along for a nice stroll in Quiet Waters Park. It starts at 8 a.m. on Sunday morning.
