In addition, social service organizations such as the American Legion, BPO Elks, Lions Club, Moose Lodge, Optimist Club and the Rotary Club support their communities with ongoing charitable activities, as do many civic and business networking groups. In our area especially, historic preservation organizations also perform admirable services worthy of community support.
