DHS Promotes Adopt A Cat Month in June

Jun 09, 2011 04:08PM ● Published by Anonymous

All feline adopters will receive a special goodie bag

that includes coupons and special offers as well as a training DVD. The $50 adoption

fee (negotiable for adult cats) includes vaccines, feline leukemia test, and spay/neuter.

“In addition to the awesome cat they receive, we hope people will see the economic

value of adopting from our shelter,” states Suzette Stitely executive director of the

society. “If you get a free cat and you provide the same medical care we do, you’ll be

looking at a $300-$400 expense. It’s a win-win to adopt from the Dorchester Humane

Society.” The society invites you to visit all the animals available for adoption at 4930

Bucktown Rd. Cambridge, MD or on-line
