The Freezer: Making Meals Easy for....

Every once in a while, I like to spend four to five hours in the kitchen making meals that can be frozen. Often, soon-to-be mothers do this so they can have a homemade meal easily after the baby is born, but I think it's handy for everyone. After all, who hasn't come home from work, exhausted, and completely unmotivated in the kitchen? Think of how easy it is to pull something out of the freezer and stick it in the oven.

Not everything freezes well, though. Anything that has a cream-based sauce will not be good, nor are fried foods. However, noodle dishes, soups, rice dishes, burritos, baked goods, enchiladas -- all excellent choices.
