Dr. Ward is honored to have been voted “Top Doc” by his peers for the second consecutive time. Dr. Ward has started his 17th year in private practice, previously in New York and currently in Maryland, and is as dedicated to his patient care as he has always been. He is grateful to be recognized.
“My reason for originally opening a solo practice was that it was important to me that my patients receive focused, personalized one-on-one care. It is also important that my patients feel that their concerns are being heard and that they take an active part in the decision making process regarding their care options. Office visits are committed to maximizing quality time with the patient and the doctor.”
Dr. Ward completed his undergraduate training at Penn State University and medical school training at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. His post graduate residency training in orthopedic surgery was at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and he held a Clinical Professorship of Surgery at New York College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Ward is a Board Certified and Recertified Orthopedic Surgeon who treats simple and complex fractures, sports injuries, general non-operative musculoskeletal disorders and adult reconstructive surgery.
He opened his practices in Cambridge and Easton six years ago and has since expanded to Salisbury and, most recently, Kent Island.
Another expansion this year is the welcome addition of Dr. Corey Gilbert. He shares Dr. Ward’s philosophy regarding patient treatment and care. Dr. Gilbert is a general orthopedic surgeon with specialty fellowship training in sports medicine at the University of Pittsburgh and was the on-field physician with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Dr. Ward and Dr. Gilbert welcome new patients to any of their offices.
