Dottie Beauregard, left, of Davidsonville, a volunteer at the Anne Arundel County Department of Aging and Disabilities, and Nancy Horner, office support with the department’s Senior Health Information Assistance Program, arrange Medicare publications on a display table at the department, 2666 Riva Road, Fourth Floor, Annapolis. The public can pick up information on Medicare Prescription Part D and other Medicare programs weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The Part D enrollment period has been changed by Congress this year, with any prescription plan changes to be made no later than Dec. 7. For information and to arrange an appointment to discuss questions, call 410-222-4464. The public also can call 1-800-MEDICARE or visit www.medicare.gov for information.
