Weekend's Best Bets: Saints and Sinners, Ships and Sports

If you're looking for some fun in the Annapolis region, I suggest heading to the Loews Annapolis Hotel tonight at 7 p.m. for the ARC's Saints and Sinners Cocktail Party. There, you'll be able to visit the "Sinner's Lounge," and enjoy Tom Lagana's jazz stylings. Feeling good about your behavior? Head to the "Saints Sanctuary," dance to the sounds of Radio City, and help yourself to decadent desserts and a special coffee and tea bar.

And, if you want to learn more about The Arc, make a stop by "The Wailing Room," where you can find out about the organization, as well as the children and adults they serve.

Top this all off with some sinfully good nosh, signature cocktails, and amazing apps, and you're set for an awesome evening.

Want to head over to the Eastern Shore? Chestertown is the place to be.

Throughout the weekend, the town is hosting Downrigging Weekend. There, you'll be able to take in a spectacular fleet of tall ships, listen to lectures by some of the nation's most respected authors and journalists, enjoy performances from talented local and national musicians, and go for public sails. Visit the event's website for a full schedule, and individual event prices. (Many of them are free!)

If I still haven't whetted your event appetite, then maybe this'll tempt you:

The Ravens.

They stunk last Monday. This weekend, though they're going to try to regain some momentum against the Arizona Cardinals at M&T Bank Stadium.

The game is at 1 p.m. on Sunday, and tickets are still available through the NFL Ticket Exchange.

And don't worry Redskins fans. Your team will be back in town soon.

Whatever you decide to do this weekend, have a tremendous time.
