Powerhouse singer-songwriter LAURA WARSHAUER has an exciting fall schedule planned which includes a string of high-profile shows, two national TV appearances and an ever-rising single, “Wishing Well” which enjoyed a 13-week chart run that began early this summer.  “Wishing Well” is a perfect example of her signature style, which combines her personal and emotional lyrics with sweet pop melodies and her soaring voice.  The video premiered on KO Video and was featured on the AOL Music website.  It can be viewed at: http://www.laurawmusic.com/videos/wishing-well-official-video

Chosen by BMI and the Songwriter’s Hall of Fame as the 2010 recipient for the first ever “Holly Award”, given to one gifted singer-songwriter a year, Jersey-born LAURA WARSHAUER is far from just another female singer-songwriter.  Her sound, style and familiar vocal flavors range from Stevie Nicks to Cyndi Lauper, Kate Bush to Imogen Heap. Her warm energy literally flows into every song, allowing listeners to quickly connect to Laura through her sound and lyrics.  Laura recently wowed a sold-out event sponsored by radio station WZEW in Mobile, Alabama.   Also on the bill were Scars on 45.  Her latest album, “The Pink Chariot Mixtape” was released earlier this summer and gained widespread attention including features in People Magazine, Paris Match, and The London Daily Mail as a result of her song, “To Will and Kate, Meet Me at Exit 109.”  The song detailed her experiences during college with the future King and Queen of England as she watched their love first blossom.

On October 12th, at 10pm nationwide, Laura shared more about her experiences with Will and Kate on the E! True Hollywood Story on Kate and Pippa Middleton.  Included in this special is a powerful interview with Laura, and clips from a live performance of “To Will and Kate, Meet Me at Exit 109.”

On Friday, October 21st, Laura headlines the MPRESSFEST CMJ showcase in NYC at Rockwood Music Hall.  Then on October 23rd, she appeared at radio station WXPN’s World Café in Philadelphia opening for acclaimed musician Bob Schneider.  Following these appearances, Laura is scheduled to open for Bob Schneider on November 19th at Rams Head in Annapolis, Maryland and November 20th at Stanhope House in Stanhope, NJ. Seeing Laura live is an experience nobody should miss. She has that rare quality very few artists possess; the ability to make each person in the audience feel as if she is singing only to them.

FIRST SINGLE “WISHING WELL” ENJOYS 13-WEEK MEDIABASE CHART RUN

“In my opinion there are few artists out there with a timeless sound.  Laura is certainly one to watch…  With a sound reminiscent of the greats like Stevie Nicks, Alanis Morissette, Tracy Chapman, Jewel and Sinead O’Connor, her unique sound will resonate in your mind.”
-- G.L.A.M. Magazine

Even though Laura Warshauer may not be a household name yet, there’s no doubt this central New Jersey singer-songwriter is well on her way… Universally accessible to all ears and with wordplay that anyone can relate to, Warshauer could easily be the less bitter Alanis Morissette of this decade in terms of both popularity and impact.”
--The Byke Rack

“Laura Warshauer is a singer/songwriter that you all need to know about… the nine track album showcases Warshauer’s versatility as a “genre-crossing” artist, with her music dipping into the realms of both pop and rock.  While many artists almost exclusively take an introspective approach to songwriting, Warshauer looks to current events to keep her music both relatable and captivating.”
