January 15th

Call for Artists Deadline for painters to photographers, to submit work to serve as the official image of Hospice Cup XXXI, taking place in Annapolis on 9/22/12. The judging will be done by popular vote. All submitted artwork will be on display at Maryland Federation of Art’s Circle Gallery 1/25–2/12, culminating in a reception and winner’s announcement on 2/10. Live Arts Maryland’s Annual Gala invites you to join host and MC J. Ernest Green, as he leads the night’s live auction, and presents music from multiple genres performed by the area’s best singers, and pianist Erik Apland. Guests may also bid on silent auction packages that include evenings on the town, wine packages, luxury spa dates, and more.  And, the event features an open bar as well as a gourmet dinner by the Loews' award-winning chef.  All proceeds benefit Live Arts Maryland. Anne Arundel County High School Battle of the Bands is an annual competition for rock bands from Anne Arundel County high schools. 29th Annual OC Seaside Boat Show invites you to see over 300 boats, including, sail, pontoon, inshore, and offshore boats, and wave runners.
