Participants can take part in several volunteer opportunities including helping with activities, making school and family porgram materials for the museum, creating a community mosaic on the meaning of community and volunteering.

Other projects benefited include Anne Arundel Conflict Resolution Center, Bello Machre, Chesapeake Children's Museum, Creating Communities, Operation Welcome Home, and Youth Volunteer Corps of the Corridor.

While the morning session (11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.) is full, the afternoon session is not. But, you might want to head to the organization's event page quickly, because registration is encouraged. Though, a representative from the museum stated that volunteers can "absolutely" still come.

The afternoon session takes place from 1 to 2:30 p.m., and is free and open to all ages. Participants under sixteen must be accompanied by an adult.
