You’re invited to an evening of dining, dancing, and gaming at the Calvert Marine Museum’s Annual Bugeye Ball on Saturday, February 25 at 7:00 p.m. Join the air of excitement and mystery of the Roaring Twenties with fine cuisine and cocktails by Ken Upton of Ken’s Creative Kitchen. Try your luck at the gaming tables for prizes, and dance the night away to the music of The Hot Club of DC. Tickets for the event are $175 each and proceeds will benefit the preservation efforts of the museum.

Whether you are able to attend or not, purchase a raffle ticket for the chance to win a trip for two to Tuscany, Italy. The lucky winners will stay seven nights in La Terazza, a three bedroom private villa located in the medieval town of Cetona, Italy. Raffle tickets are $100 each, with only 250 tickets sold. The winning name will be drawn at the Bugeye Ball, and the winner does not need to be present to win! Tickets are 100% tax deductible with all proceeds benefitting the preservation efforts at the Calvert Marine Museum. Visit for details and to purchase your raffle ticket.

The Calvert Marine Museum is a public, non-profit, educational, and community museum, established in 1970 by local residents. Visitors can explore and learn how our prehistoric past, natural environments, and maritime heritage come together to tell a unique story of the Chesapeake Bay. Raising money through membership, grants, donations, and special events has allowed the museum to grow into an exceptional facility, providing history, education, and culture to all of Southern Maryland.

Tickets for this gala evening and great cause are $175. Business and personal sponsorships ranging from $500 - $5,000 are also available. Please visit or call 410-326-2042 x16, x17, or x18 for more information and to purchase tickets.
