Annapolis, MD (2-21-12) Annapolis Mayor Joshua J. Cohen and Annapolis Economic Development Corporation President and CEO Lara Fritts are pleased to announce that a name and address change offers new opportunities to an old friend in Annapolis.
Annapolis Boutique Spa & Salon, formally Annapolis Day Spa & Salon on West Street, has relocated to West Annapolis and is located in two separate facilities. The spa is located at 703 Giddings Avenue - L5, while the salon is just a few doors down the block at 101 Ridgley Avenue - 12A, and are open seven days a week.
The spa offers a variety of massage, body, facial, spray tanning, teeth whitening and waxing services. The salon offers a variety of hair services and nails for both men and women. On weekends, the Spa & Salon caters to bridal parties for hair and makeup. Additionally, it offers a great monthly membership to enjoy a large variety of service selections at reduced rates and a great value.
“Annapolis Boutique Spa & Salon will be the perfect addition to West Annapolis,” Mayor Josh Cohen said. “Nestled near the Navy Marine Corps Memorial Stadium and home to one-of-a kind- shops and restaurants, it’s a reminder of our unique character, which lends to the enduring appeal of Annapolis."
To celebrate its grand opening, owner Joan Courtney will hold a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and Open House at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 28. However, during the week prior to its grand opening, February 22 to February 28, the Spa & Salon will offer ladies haircuts and blow-dries, men’s haircuts, teeth whitening, foot reflexology, and shellac nails at discounted prices. Visitors are encouraged to sign up for a free ‘Spa Winter Warm Up Package’ which includes a 30-minute thermal stone massage, a tranquility facial, and paraffin hand treatment. The drawing will take place at the grand opening on the 28th and the winner does not need to be present to win.
“Annapolis Boutique Spa & Salon is a real win-win for Annapolis,” President and CEO of the Annapolis Economic Development Corporation Lara Fritts said. “It represents both a retention and an expansion. We are very pleased that they have stayed within the City and expanded to two spaces. AEDC is very excited for Joan and the rebirth of the spa and salon in the Ridgely and Giddings Avenue corridor.”
“We love our new locations!” said Owner of Annapolis Boutique Spa & Salon Joan Courtney. “Annapolis Day Spa & Salon moved from its former location at the Loews Hotel on West Street after seven years in business and could not be more pleased with its new homes. West Annapolis is such a fabulous and quiet neighborhood with great parking – so we are easy to get to. Our clients that have visited us love the new location too! We may be small and intimate in size but deliver big customer service and care. All we ask is that you relax your mind, and your body will follow to allow the most benefit from our services.”
