Calling All Brides

Now, I hope you trust me to be completely honest with you. Because when I say that our showcase is awesome, I'm not just saying it because I work here. I went last year (as a volunteer – not as a single woman planning a non-existent ceremony), and it was pretty fantastic. I got to try my first cake pop. Seriously, I circled around the vendors a few times just to accomplish this goal.

So, if I weren't going to my cousin's wedding, you can bet I'd be at this weekend's. And not just for the cake pops.

At the What's Up? Weddings Fall Bridal Showcase, attendees will get the chance to meet all the local vendors who can help bring their plans to life. Y'know all of that stuff you've been amassing on Pinterest? These people can actually help you sort it all into real details.

And if you need more inspiration, you'll have the opportunity to see tons of gowns in a strolling fashion show and win thousands in fantastic prizes for your wedding day. Think a pave swirl pendant necklace from Smyth Jewelers, a social membership from the Crofton Country Club, and a table and chair rental of five farmhouse tables and fifty fruitwood chiavari chairs from Vintage Affairs. (And everything else pictured here)

Plus, you'll get to spend your day sipping champagne and nibbling on complimentary hors d'ouevres.

Tickets to the What's Up? Weddings Fall Bridal Showcase are just $10 in advance and $15 at the door. The event takes place this Sunday, September 16th, at the Crofton Country club between 1 and 4 p.m. For more information, click here, or call the What's Up? headquarters at 410-267-9390.
