Grilled Bok Choy
Serves 4

  • • One head bok choy
  • • 2 limes
  • • 3 tablespoons sesame oil, divided
  • • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

Wash the bok choy thoroughly to remove any dirt and grit. Cut it into quarters and place it in a container. Drizzle it with the juice of one lime, 2 tablespoons sesame oil, and the soy sauce. Place it in the fridge and let it marinate for 30 minutes.
Preheat the grill. Using tongs, place the bok choy with one flat side down.

Let it cook for about five minutes, until there are grill marks, and then flip it over to the other flat side and cook for another five minutes. By now, the top of the green leaves should be charred and grill marks have appeared on the white stalks.
Remove the bok choy from the grill and bring it inside. Before serving, drizzle remaining sesame oil and lime juice over the vegetable.
