Recipe: Pumpkin Pie Dip

If you're starting to plan your Halloween (or Thanksgiving) menu already, check this out – this dip is perfect for a mid-afternoon snack or post-dinner dessert when served with cut fruit or gingersnaps. If you're feeling creative, hollow out a small pumpkin and use it as a serving vessel for the dip.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 15-ounce can pumpkin puree
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

Directions

Blend all ingredients together thoroughly and chill until ready to eat. Serve with graham crackers, gingersnaps, and apple slices.
