Annapolis NYE: No Reservations Required

If you do plan on hitting up the bars, though, do us all a favor and stay off the roads. Get a designated driver ahead of time, or simply take a cab downtown and plan on taking one home as well. Here are the digits you need to know:

2:45 p.m. – Annapolis Drum and Bugle Corps “Pied Piper”
3-7 p.m. – Chesapeake Children’s Museum Reuse! Repurpose!
3-7 p.m. – The Face Paint Lady
4:30 – 5 p.m. – Magic Shows from Jack Julius
5:30-6:30 – Goombay Caribbean Experience
8 p.m. – Walking Sticks
10 p.m. – Radio City Band

Downtown:

Red Red Wine Bar is open all night with a free champagne toast at midnight. They’ll start charging a $10 starting at 10 p.m.

Rams Head Tavern will have live music starting at 10 p.m. They have $4 champagne cocktails and Red Bull Vodkas, with Moonlicious providing the entertainment. Their midnight toast uses Miller High Life, the “champagne of beers.”

Stan and Joe’s is open for drinks and dancing, although reservations are recommended. DJ Runnell provides the entertainment.

Middleton’s Tavern is open with music coming from Mike McHenry.

Up West Street, Fado’s New Year’s Eve kicks off at 9 p.m. and is cover charge free. They are, however, accepting donations for Hurricane Sandy relief, so leave them a few bucks. DJ CK spins into the new year and they have a complimentary champagne toast at midnight.

For $20, Metropolitan Kitchen hosts an awesome party with DJ Kahz and professional dancers on their rooftop. With the cover charge you get a free shot of their house infused spirits on the rooftop ice luge, as well as a champagne toast at midnight.

West End Grill is serving up their second annual Taste dinner from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. There's no cover before 9 p.m. and it's only $20 at the door, which includes one free cocktail and a champagne toast at midnight. Catch Jenna Jill, Dean Rosenthal, Mike McHenry, Ruckus Brown, DJ Big Dooby and DJ Syck Turtle.
