Punk’s Backyard Grill Closed
Punk’s Backyard Grill, located in the Westfield Annapolis Mall, closed on January 6. The restaurant, which opened in 2009, was the only locally-owned restaurant in the mall. "We are sad to announce that today, Sunday, January 6th, is Punk's final day of business,” the restaurant wrote on their Facebook page. Sheila Laderberg, Dave McCabe and Jeffrey Sloan opened Punk’s in 2009 to rave reviews. It featured burgers and a wide selection of craft beers. Punk’s was recently voted best “Bang for Your Buck” restaurant by the Bay Weekly newspaper. Co-Owner Dave McCabe is currently the dining critic for What’s Up? Eastern Shore.
