Let's Go, Ravens!

If you’re staying at home, be sure to check out Kim’s incredible recipes for tailgaiting with style . But if you’re still looking for a place to get out and watch the action, we have a few ideas for you.

It may seem a little counter intuitive, but one of the best places to catch the game this weekend is Union Jacks , the British-style pub that has opened in the old Wild Willy’s location. They’re hosting a Super Bowl party with over 25 60-inch HD tvs, all tuned in to the game (we suppose, unless there’s a Downton Abbey marathon going on).

Stan n Joe’s will have the game playing on 15 tvs and help you get the party started with Bud light bucket specials, half off their bar menu (we love their wings more than just about anything), and Miller Lights and Yuenglings for $3.

Castlebay is a smaller venue with only two tvs, but they have one of the better happy hour menus in town. Half priced drafts, half priced bar menu, $3 rail drinks, two TVs. Huge thing of steamed mussels.

Mike’s Crab House  is hosting their annual Super Bowl party with $2.50 domestics, $3 imports, the game playing on all 16 tvs, and a free (!!) buffet starting after the first quarter. We won’t need any comfort food, but the buffet does feature an insane spread of fried chicken, mac n cheese, mashed potatoes, and tacos.

If you want to head up to Baltimore to be a part of the action, you’ll be hard pressed to find a bar in Federal Hill or Fells Point that hasn’t dragged in every television it could find. We called Mothers Grill in Fed Hill to ask about their Super Bowl tent party, but unfortch it’s sold out already. However, head up on Friday for a neighborhood Purple Pep Rally from 6-10 between Mother’s, Rope Walk, Stalking Horse, Rileys, and many others. Wear your Ravens finest to win some prizes.

If you just want to eat some wings and watch the game, Buffalo Wild Wings  has over 70 tvs, drink specials, and all the chicken you could ever want.
