Chocolate-Covered Strawberries

10 to 12 ripe strawberries
1 1/2 cup chocolate melting wafers
1/2 cup red melting wafers


In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate melting wafers for 30 second increments until smooth and melted throughout. Lay a sheet of parchment paper on a clean counter surface. Take the strawberry by the leaves and dredge it through the chocolate, 3/4 of the way to the top of the strawberry. Gently shake off the excess chocolate. Take the strawberry and drag it lightly across the parchment paper then set it down to dry. Once completely dry, melt red melting wafers in thirty second increments until melted through. Transfer to a plastic squeeze bottle. Drizzle red wafer on top of the strawberries in a design of your choosing. Makes 10 to 12 strawberries.
