Turns out, there’s a perfect place to combine physicality with frivolity…and we call it summer camp. Check out the list below to discover the wide variety of activities, themes, sports, pursuits, and locations. There is something that will fi t every child’s needs. Now if only we grown-ups could spend a few weeks at summer camp…

With more than 100 years of experience, multiple generations of area kids have grown and learned on the more than 200 waterfront acres at Camp Letts. Programs include traditional, equestrian, paintball, sailing, and water-skiing activities to name a few. Day or residential programs minutes from Annapolis. Camp Letts is what summer is all about. The Fine & Performing Arts

Musical Theater Workshop—Annapolis Summer Garden Theatre. Theatre Under the Stars workshop will explore drama and vocal skills, monologues, cold readings, audition techniques and various styles of dance. Through theatre games, scene work, movement, improvisation and imagination, students will gain a better understanding of the art of musical theater. Workshop culminates in a Broadway-style musical revue with two final performances for friends and family on the Annapolis Summer Garden Theatre stage! August 5th to 9th, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; final rehearsal August 12th, 5 to 10 p.m., Performances August 13th and 14th at 8:30 p.m. on stage at Annapolis Summer Garden Theatre. Classes in singing, dancing, acting, costuming, and stagecraft. Along the way they perform, make friends and have fun.
