Baywater Animal Rescue Offers ‘Take Two’ Feline Frenzy

Sep 09, 2013 01:10PM ● Published by Cate Reynolds

Baywater Animal Rescue has saved the lives of 40 cats and kittens over the past few months and now needs your help. “Our small shelter is overwhelmed with cats right now and we can not take in any more until we adopt the ones we have. When you adopt a cat, you make it possible for us to save another,” said Suzette Stitely, Executive Director of the rescue. Baywater Animal Rescue is making it easier for you to adopt a kitty by offering a Take Two adoption special during the month of September. Adoption fees for two cats is only $20. The advantage of adopting two cats is that when you are not home they have a playmate. If you are only able to make a commitment to one new feline during your visit, you can receive an adoption voucher to be shared with a friend or family member. “It’s a win-win for everyone,” adds Stitely. “The cats get good homes and people receive double the love and affection when they adopt two cats. There’s nothing better than that.” All cat adopters during September will also be entered in a raffle for a basket of feline goodies. Adoption hours are Tuesday & Thursday 1-7pm, Wednesday & Friday 1-5pm and Saturday 11am - 4pm. Information about the rescue’s other programs can be found at www.baywateranimalrescue.org.
