Now in its 44th year, the United States Sailboat Show has routinely inspired the essence of the Chesapeake Bay to over 50,000 visitors annually.

This year will be no different as the show, which runs from Thursday, October 10th, through Monday, October 14th, will exhibit the largest multi-hull collection in the world, with at least 45 expected to be on hand.

The Premier Launch Party, held Thursday night from 6-8 p.m. at Loews Annapolis Hotel, is sold out but one day and two-day combo tickets can be purchased. Admission for a one day ticket is $18 for adults, $5 for children 7-12, and free for children six and under. Two day combo tickets cost $31.

This show gives visitors the chance to buy, sell, or fantasize about their ideal boat. There are also opportunities throughout the weekend to take part in special boating seminars. The full list can be found here.

Over 180 boats are slated to be in the show from companies such as Alerion Yachts, Hake Yachts LLC/Seaward, The Boat Locker, Jeanneau America Inc., Hanse Yachts, Catalina Yachts, Beneteau America, and many more. New to the show this year are the Aeroyacht-Alpha 42 Catamaran, Beneteau Oceanis 38, Dufour 500, and Outremer 5X. You can read about those and the rest of the new additions here.
