The Buzz: Dry 85 Opens New Year's Day and More

Dry 85, the speakeasy style bar owned by Annapolis restauranteurs Brian and Lisa Bolter, opened on New Year's Day. The bar will specialize in bourbon but will also offer beer and other comfort foods. This will be the second restaurant for the Bolters, who also own Red Red Wine Bar in Annapolis.
Squoze Healthy Carryout to Open Soon
Chef Patrick Fanning will have his hands full come January. Fanning, the owner and chef at The High Spot and Stoked in Cambridge, will be opening Squoze, a healthy carryout restaurant some time during the month. Squoze will carry healthy items and smoothies.
