Color Me Cheerful

Mar 06, 2014 11:28AM ● By Cate Reynolds
Infuse your home with cheerful hues and wash away those winter blues! Not quite ready to wholeheartedly embrace the color trend with large statement pieces? Start by introducing a new palette with pillows, one of the easiest and least expensive ways to brighten a space. Keep in mind that when incorporating a new color, it’s best to use it in at least three places: pillows, art, or some new accessories. Consider painting the back of a bookcase, slipcovering a favorite chair, or bringing in a new piece of artwork, like the one shown here, which accentuates the cheerful pops and varying shades of coral and chartreuse.
