Chocolate Orange Slices

Oranges and chocolate are a well-known pairing. The bitterness in the chocolate and the sweetness of the orange juice make them natural friends. The blood orange, with its raspberry undertones, is even better with chocolate.


1 blood orange, sliced into segments
1/2 cup bittersweet chocolate, chopped


Melt bittersweet chocolate in a bowl in 30 second increments until fully melted. Dip the segments half way into the chocolate then lay them flat on a sheet of parchment paper to dry.

Serves 2
