Vanilla Fig Mocktail

Even though figs aren’t in season until August, you can still enjoy their flavors as a great pre-cursor to summer. Fig jam is available at grocery stores year round and makes an excellent, unique addition to any cocktail or mocktail.


2 heaping Tbsp. fig jam
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 cup vanilla sparkling water


In a bowl, combine the jam and sugar until well mixed. Add in about 2 to 4 Tbsp. of the sparkling water and mix well. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer to get rid of the seeds. Pour the fig mixture into a martini glass then top with remaining sparkling water. Stir gently to combine.

Serves 1
