Oreo Cheesecake Cookies

These Oreo cheesecake cookies are the perfect slice and bake cookie. Rich and decadent while light and fluffy at the same time!

1 ½ sticks butter, softened
4 ounces cream cheese, softened
¾ cup white sugar
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
2 ¼ cup flour
6 to 8 Oreos, cream removed

Place the Oreos in a ziplock bag and smash them using a rolling pin. You want them to be crumbs. Beat butter and cream cheese in a mixer until smooth. Beat in sugar and lemon juice and mix until combined. Add in flour slowly and mix until combined. Roll the mixture into a log shape and roll the log into the crushed Oreos. Wrap the log in plastic wrap and store in the fridge or freezer until ready to use.

To bake, slice the cookies in ¼ to ½ slices. Bake at 375 degrees on a parchment-lined baking sheet for 10 minutes and remove to a cooling rack.

Makes approximately 15 cookies
