Thyme Parmesan Popcorn

When people think of popcorn, they typically think of drippy, greasy movie-theater popcorn. But really, it can be made into a gourmet treat of sorts with just a few herbs and spices. The thyme parmesan combination is a classic one and works perfectly on popcorn.


¼ cup unpopped popcorn kernels
1 Tbsp. dried thyme
½ Tbsp. Parmesan cheese
½ tsp. salt


Place kernels into a brown paper bag. Microwave the bag for approximately 2 minutes until the kernels are all popped. Transfer to a bowl. Spray with a bit of non stick spray. Combine the thyme, Parmesan cheese and salt in a dish. Sprinkle on top of the popcorn and toss to coat.
