Tijuana Taxi

For every margarita traditionalist, there will be another person who prefers the sweeter, frozen fruity tequila cocktails. The Tijuana Taxi – a mixture of mangos, limes and a splash of vanilla – is the drink to serve to those who like to buck against tradition.

2-15 ounces cans sliced mangos, drained
2/3 cup tequila
2/3 cup triple sec
Juice of 1 ½ limes
2 heaping Tbsp. sugar plus 1 Tbsp. sugar
1 ½ Tbsp. vanilla
2 ½ cups ice

Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Pour 1 Tbsp. sugar on a plate. Rub the glass with a wedge of lime and twirl it in the sugar. Fill the glasses with blended margarita.
