Held as a major fundraiser for the Mitchell Gallery at St. John's College, the national juried exhibit “Less is More: Small Works in a Great Space” featured original, small pieces by artists from 35 states.

At the premiere opening in May, more than 200 guests enjoyed food and drinks by local caterers, live music by the Rob Levit Duo, and a first glance at the artwork. Proceeds from the event supported the Mitchell Gallery’s educational programs, which are offered free of charge.

While the exhibit concluded in June, the gallery’s current exhibition “Annapolis Collects: The Mitchell Gallery Celebrates 25 Years,” showcases a selection of works on loan from private collections, museums, and historic houses in Annapolis and Anne Arundel County. The exhibit runs through October 12th.
