Annual Girlfriends' Flower Power Party

Calling all Lilly (Pulitzer) lovers! The Sixth Annual Girlfriends' Flower Power Party returns this Wednesday (June 18th) bringing a celebration of friendship, food, and fun to historic downtown Annapolis.

The party will take place at the William Paca House and Garden, located at 186 Prince George Street. Doors open at 5 p.m. for VIP ticket holders and 6 p.m. for general admission.

We spoke with one of the event organizers to get a little inside scoop on what is sure to be a fabulous evening.

What can guests expect? Food, friends, flowers, music, “Pacatinis,” and a marketplace with 25 designer vendors, including Maine Cottage, Hobo Handbags, Little White Fashion Truck, one-of-a-kind art pieces, and more. The event, which runs until 9 p.m., takes place in a two-acre formal garden with plein air painters capturing it all!

What about parking? The event is in the historic district, so street parking is tight. Guests are encouraged to walk, carpool, ride bikes, etc., but for those traveling by car to the party, the Hillman Garage of Main Street is your best bet.

Food and drinks? All food and drinks are complimentary. Beverages served include wine, beer, and the famous “Pacatinis.” While the event isn’t intended to be dinner, it will offer an incredible sampling from the finest caterers in the area. Typically, guests sample and stroll while purchasing items from the incredible marketplace.

The dress code? It’s all about the flower power, so it looks like Lilly Pulitzer on steroids! (If you’re still struggling to imagine what this might entail, take a quick look through the photo gallery above to see what guests have worn in previous years!).

Are tickets still available? VIP tickets are still available at – the event is so popular, general admission tickets sold out the day they went on sale! For $150, the VIP ticket gets you into the party an hour earlier, which means more time to spend enjoying the delectable food and “Pacatinis,” as well as first dibs on designer merchandise, a meet and greet with local designers, and a VIP swag bag!
