Annual Rotary Club of Annapolis Crab Feast – is an all-you-can-eat-and-drink event and a major fundraiser for community organizations. Friday, August 1st from 5 to 8 p.m. at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium, Annapolis. Tickets: $65/adults; $20/children ages three to 12; free/children under three. 1-877-333-9667.

39th Annual Peach Festival – offers tasty summer treats, including fresh peaches and peach cake, along with a family-style chicken dinner. All proceeds benefit Easport United Methodist Church’s mission projects and community outreach programs. Saturday, August 2nd from noon to 5 p.m. at Eastport United Methodist Church, Annapolis. 5th Annual Watermen’s Appreciation Day - admission includes guest appearance from the Deadliest Catch’s Edgar Hansen, live music with Byrd Dog & the Road Kings, kid’s activities, and more. Sunday, August 10th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum, St. Michaels. Steamed crabs, beer, and other food and drinks available for purchase. Hospice of Queen Anne’s Sunset Celebration - will be an evening of casual fun, picnic food, and entertainment with proceeds benefiting Hospice of Queen Anne’s. 35th Annual Rescue Fire Company Seafood Feast-I-Val – is a Dorchester County tradition offering all-you-can-eat steamed crabs, soup, fried fish, BBQ chicken, hot dogs, corn on the cob, watermelon, and more. Event features crafters, vendors, and live music. Saturday, August 9th from 1 to 6 p.m. at Sailwinds Park, Cambridge. Rain or shine. 7th Annual Boatyard Bar and Grill Regatta - is a one day-regatta to benefit CRAB (Chesapeake Region Accessible Boating) that consists of one pursuit-style race off the mouth of the Severn River and a party afterward. Saturday, August 23rd, at Eastport yacht Club, Annapolis. Race from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; party from 4 to 8 p.m. Tickets: $5.

17th Annual Boating Party – includes cocktails, dinner, and dancing on Navy Point to support the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum’s mission of preserving and exploring the history, environment, and people of the Chesapeake Bay. Gracie’s Girls in the Garden – is a women-only “friend-raising” party, celebrating the beginnings of Talbot County and the efforts of the Talbot Historical Society to conserve its history. The event offers an array of taste-tempting selections by area caterers, accompanied with wine and “Talbotinis,” a specialty cocktail created for the event. Wednesday, September 17th from 5:30 to 8 p.m. (rain date: Thursday, September 18th) at the Talbot Historical Society, Easton. Tickets: $25/person.

The Taste of the Chesapeake – celebrates environmental leadership, along with local food, drinks, and live music, to benefit the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay. On Thursday, September 18th from 5:30 to 9 p.m. at Quiet Waters Park, Annapolis. Tickets: $100/members; $125/non-members, which includes an Alliance membership.

30th Annual Bello Machre Golf Tournament – raises funds for the people with developmental disabilities served by Bello Machre. Includes a $30,000 hole-in-one prize, a silent auction, and a Sausage Stop at the Turn. Wednesday, September 17th at Queenstown Harbor Golf Course, Queenstown. $200/golfer; $800/teams of four. Hammond-Harwood House Annual Garden Party – is an evening of food, drink, live music, and more, to support the maintenance and education programs of the Hammond-Harwood House. Saturday, September 20th from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Reed Creek House, near Centreville. Tickets: $150/person. – Kylie Taylor

Hospice Cup XXXIII - is a charity sailing regatta and party, featuring a catered dinner buffet, open bar, live music, silent auction, and trophy presentation. New this year is the Dinghy Poker Race. All funds raised help hospice bereavement care programs for the three participating hospices: Capital Caring, Hospice of the Chesapeake, and Montgomery Hospice. Saturday, September 20th in Annapolis. Regatta at 1 p.m. in the Chesapeake Bay; Shore Party at 5 p.m. at Bert Jabin Yacht Yard.

10th Annual Boatyard Beach Bash – is a Jimmy Buffett-themed FUN-raiser with live music, an extensive grilled buffet, and specialty cocktails. Saturday, September 20th from 5 to 9 p.m. at Annapolis Maritime Museum, Annapolis. Tickets: $65/in advance; $75/at the door; $125/VIP.

Seventh Annual Magic in the Meadow – is an enchanted evening under the stars with auctions and delicious food to support Adkins Arboretum’s education and conservation programs. Eighth Annual St. Michaels Concours d'Elegance & Fundraising Dinner - features rare pre-war grand classics with European coachwork, wood-bodied cars, and significant sports cars, as well as a collection of fashion and classic wooden speed boats. Sunday, September 28th at the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay, Cambridge. Gourmet dinner with live and silent auctions on Saturday, September 27th in the Grand Ballroom of the Hyatt. Dinner tickets: $150/person.

AAMC Foundation 25th Silver Anniversary Golf Classic – benefits community outreach efforts and “Care Beyond the Walls of the Hospice.” Enjoy a beautiful day of golf with fantastic hole-in-one prizes and cash! St. Martin’s Ministries Arts Dinner and Auction - is a fundraiser to support the continuation of St. Martin’s work in aiding the needy on the Eastern Shore. An auction will take place and contain the work of some of the finest local artists and more. Friday, October 10th from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Rock Hall Fire Hall, Rock Hall. – Kylie Taylor

Strut and Sip for Autism 2014 – features a New York-style runway fashion show with cocktails, raffle, live auction, and an after-party. Proceeds will help establish a grant for children with Autism to receive speech and occupational therapy. Wednesday, October 15th at 6:30 p.m. at Paladar Latin Kitchen & Rum Bar, Annapolis.

Party to Preserve – is an evening of bluegrass and bidding (on fabulous auction items) to benefit Eastern Shore Land Conservancy. Saturday, October 11th at 4 p.m. at the Daffin House, Hillsboro. Tour the house and stroll the grounds to fully appreciate the importance of this historic property’s preservation. Tickets: $100/person.


Fish for a Cure – is a fishing tournament that invites you to fish on the Chesapeake Bay and its tributaries to raise money for the cancer programs within the DeCesaris Cancer Institute at Anne Arundel Medical Center. Saturday, November 8th. Tournament begins at sunrise followed by the weigh-in at 5 p.m. at Pusser’s Caribbean Grille, Annapolis. Tournament bash at 6:30 p.m. at Annapolis Marriott Waterfront with food, drinks, and a silent auction.

2014 Celebration of Philanthropy - draws hundreds of the county’s community, business, nonprofit, and philanthropic leaders, to celebrate those who demonstrate outstanding generosity and community leadership. Hosted by the Community Foundation of Anne Arundel County with part of the proceeds benefitting the Celebration of Philanthropy Scholarship Fund. Friday, November 21st from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Doubletree Hotel Annapolis. Tickets: $100/person. Sponsorship opportunities available.

CASAblanca:  An Evening of Glitz, Glamour & Giving – invites you to travel back to the Golden Age of Hollywood and join the giving spirit of the stars for a black-tie event, featuring dancing, fabulous food, and a live and silent auction. Proceeds benefit Anne Arundel CASA and the foster children served. Saturday, November 8th from 7 to 11 p.m. at Loews Annapolis Hotel, Annapolis. Tickets: $150/person.

16th Annual Friends Foundation Holiday Party – includes cocktail hour, live music, dinner, dancing, and live and silent auctions. Saturday, December 6th at 7:30 p.m. at the Loews Annapolis Hotel, Annapolis.

The Christmas in St. Michaels Annual Holiday Gala – includes cocktails, a seated dinner, a dessert buffet, and lots of dancing to the XPD’s. Proceeds will benefit 19 local beneficiaries.
