Pumpkin Spice Syrup

Having access to pumpkin spice syrup makes fall even more exciting. Now, typically people use it in coffee but it has so many fun uses, we had to whip some up. Toss a little in your coffee or hot chocolate, spoon it over ice cream, mix it into yogurt.


1 Cup water
3/4 Cup brown sugar
1 Tablespoon pumpkin puree
1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice


Combine water and sugar in a sauce pan and heat until sugar is dissolved. Once sugar is dissolved, whisk in pumpkin puree and spice until fully combined. Drain over a small sieve then transfer to a container. Store in the refrigerator.

Makes approximately 1 1/2 cups of syrup.
