Pumpkin Spice Latte

Every coffee shop has their own pumpkin spice latte out once fall arrives. But most of them don't even have actual pumpkin. Is it even legal to call it a pumpkin spice latte without any actual pumpkin? So we've whipped one up that has, believe it or not, real pumpkin in it. You're welcome.

1 cup milk
2 tablespoon canned pumpkin puree
2 teaspoon brown sugar
½ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cup hot brewed coffee
4 tablespoons half & half
2 Tbsp. sugar
Whipped cream to top

Combine milk, pumpkin puree, brown sugar, pumpkin pie spice and vanilla extract in a bowl or dish.

Heat in the microwave for about 2 minutes until frothy. In 2 large glass, divide pumpkin milk, half and half and sugar. Pour hot coffee over top of pumpkin milk mixture and stir to combine. Top with a little whipped cream  and a little sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice.
