Need a break from raking leaves and carving pumpkins? Kick back with this mellow cocktail that finishes with a hint of spice. All the ingredients should be readily accessible at your local liquor store. Don’t worry if whiskey is not your “thing”, the Apple Jack and local cider rounds it out nicely, leaving only a hint of whiskey flavor. Pair it with this week’s roasted sweet potato dish and a cozy blanket, and you’ll be set adrift on a fall breeze strong enough to get rid of your leafy troubles.


  • ½ oz. Laird’s Apple Jack
  • ½ oz. St. Germain
  • ½ oz. Bulleit Rye whiskey
  • ¾ oz. local apple cider
  • Dash of Angostura bitters
  • 2 oz. club soda
  • Apple slices for garnish

Combine all the ingredients over ice for crisp apple fall perfection!
