Think Pink for October!

This week’s pink feature in honor of breast cancer awareness month is a NutriBullet drink—a blender will work just fine, too! I highly recommend a NutriBullet for every kitchen. I use it almost everyday. The clean up couldn’t be easier, and it’s a great way take care of the more difficult-to-get daily nutrients with the use of dietary supplements like chia seeds, flaxseed, etc. It’s my go-to when I need a quick, but substantive fuel-up before yoga, tennis, or paddle boarding.

Ingredients - Serves 2

  • 6-7 strawberries
  • 6-7 raspberries
  • ½ nectarine
  • 1 banana
  • ½ cup tap water
  • ½ cup coconut water
  • Chia seeds

Fill the NutriBullet with the fruit and top with a spoonful or two of chia seeds. Fill with tap and coconut water, and blend until smooth.
