 DR. PHILIP A. PHILBIN, DDS
WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT YOUR JOB?
I love what I do. I love making gorgeous smiles, beautiful faces and confident individuals. It is so rewarding when I look back on where our cases start and where they finish. Wow! I really do love my job!

DR. ORA REINHEIMER, DMD, MS
HOW DO YOU DECIDE ON A RECOMMENDED TREATMENT?
We listen to our patients’ concerns. One-size does not fit all. Of course we want perfection and our patients often call us perfectionists, but that is not always what is best for every patient. We customize treatment to the patient’s needs and desires.

OUR UNIQUE APPROACH
We take a unique approach to treating our patients. Every patient’s treatment is customized to their specific needs and desires. No two patients are alike. We provide a multi-disciplinary care to patients by collaborating with their dentist and other specialist to provide the most exceptional care available.

ABOUT DR. PHILIPA. PHILBIN & DR. ORA REINHEIMER

DR. PHILBIN
I am a board certified orthodontist, and have over 25 years of experience, I am an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Middle Atlantic Society of Orthodontics, Maryland State Society of Orthodontics, Anne Arundel County Dental Society, cofounder of several dental and orthodontic study clubs as well as membership in several dental and orthodontic study clubs. I am also a member of the College of Diplomates of the American Association of Orthodontist. My involvement in these organizations has enabled me to interact, communicate, and share ideas and techniques with other leading members of the dental and orthodontic profession.

DR. REINHEIMER
I earned my Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Temple University School of Dentistry. I then attended a three-year orthodontic program at the University of Southern California, earning a certificate in orthodontics and a Master’s degree in Craniofacial Biology. I have also completed the challenging certification program through the American Board of Orthodontics granting me the title of a board certified orthodontist.

What gives me the biggest sense of pride, however, is knowing that being an orthodontist gives me the chance to help people of all ages. I love the fact that our patients range from age five to 81. Orthodontic treatment enriches the lives of everyone involved. Of course, the patient comes away with a wonderful new smile, but the doctors and staff are also enriched by the connections made with our wonderful patients. My job provides a win-win situation every day!

WHAT IS THE GOAL OF YOUR PRACTICE?
We work hard to treat our patients the same way we would like to be treated: with respect, professionalism and sensitivity. We do everything we can to make sure each patient has an exceptional experience at our practice.

WHAT IS YOUR MOST ASKED ABOUT TREATMENT?
Invisalign! We are an elite provider of Invisalign and patients love the fact that they can remove their aligners when needed, and thrilled with the results that can be achieved without the use of traditional braces.

WHAT EXTRA AMENITIES DO YOU PROVIDE?
Our entire team provides a relaxing atmosphere with several amenities to make patients feel more comfortable. We have flat-screen TVs, a beverage station, warm towels, and small gifts to welcome every new patient.

Q. At what age should my child see an orthodontist?

A. Did you know that the American Association of Orthodontists recommends that every child first visit an orthodontist by age 7 to advise if orthodontic treatment is required and the best time for that patient to start treatment? Early treatment can simplify later treatment by allowing your orthodontist to guide the growth of your child’s jaws, guide incoming permanent teeth, regulate the width of the upper and lower dental arches and create more space for crowded teeth.

Q. I’ve heard about Invisalign and want to know if it’ll be good for my teenager?

A. Sure, there are other options out there for straightening your teeth, but none offer the level of comfort, convenience and confidence that you’ll find with Invisalign Teen. And without brackets and wires, your teen will have the confidence of a great smile even during treatment.
