This cookbook has been one of my all-time favorite purchases for the kitchen and it will make a great gift for anyone who can appreciate a healthy and delicious home-cooked meal. I have used many recipes from this book for my columns such as A Healthier Halloween. It helped me get started on my self-taught path to easy, healthy meals. Good for You has everything from breakfast dishes to main course meals to sides. It also has a wonderful and straightforward overview of plants including explanations, descriptions, and benefits of things like dark greens, whole grains, cabbages & crucifers, roots, tubers & stalks, and more.
