As the kickoff the Talbot Restaurant Week, Celebrate Talbot! Sample, Sip & Savor brings together more than 20 of the county's finest restaurants and food businesses for an afternoon of culinary delight. Chefs from each business offer tastings of their most popular or favorite dish for guests to sample and savor, and are on hand to greet and mingle with guests.

It's all happening this weekend and we couldn't be more excited! Read on for details...

Date: Sunday, March 22nd

Time: 2 to 4 p.m.

The Details

What can guests expect? Local restaurants and food businesses (24 to be exact!) will offer samples of their finest dishes for guests to try. It's the perfect opportunity to check out a restaurant you've yet to visit and a great way to enjoy the delightful flavors from some of your favorite stops. Many of the chefs and restaurant owners are on hand to greet and mingle with guests, too. For a full list of participating businesses, click here.

Food and drinks? The event is designed to showcase the amazing restaurants and food businesses in the area. In short, sample now; eat later. Think of it as light hors d'oeuvres before dinner. Invite a few friends and it's a real party! Our suggestion? Sample the many wonderful treats and then book dinner (or lunch) reservations for the week - and beyond - at your favorites! Each guest also receives two complimentary beverages of choice from the cash bar.

What about parking? Parking at The Oaks Waterfront Inn is complimentary, however, space can get pretty tight for this event and oftentimes, parking spills out onto Royal Oak Road, which is somewhat narrow. This can lead to traffic, so guests are asked to be patient and watchful when parking.

The dress code? Business casual attire is advised, as Celebrate Talbot! is a great place to network. We advise attendees to leave those snug pants at home, though, so you can comfortably enjoy all the delicious treats and visit your favorite restaurant after all the tastings!

Are tickets still available? Tickets are $40 per person and remain available for purchase. It's suggested to purchase ahead of time since only a limited number will be available at the door. Buy your ticket now at or, for any locals, swing by the Talbot County Visitor Center at 11 South Harrison Street. The center is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. during the week and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays.
