The Fourth Annual St. Michaels Running Festival took place on Saturday, May 16th, with a record crowd coming out to run the new course through the historic, waterfront town.

The race consisted of several courses: a half marathon, 10K, 5K, and the Justine's Ice Cream 1K Fun Run for children. There were 2,697 finishers in the half marathon, 10K, and 5K, and 70-plus kids participated in the fun run.

More than $78,000 was raised for various nonprofit organizations, including St. Michaels Community Center, S.M.Y.L.E. (St. Michaels Youth and Law Enforcement), Talbot Humane, Lilabean Foundation for Pediatric Brain Cancer, Union United Methodist Church, M.S. of Maryland, Freedom Rowers, Yellow Ribbon Fund, and Boy Scout Troop 741.
