6th Annual Annapolis Arts, Crafts, and Wine Festival
The Annapolis Arts, Crafts, and Wine Festival is a weekend of fine, juried arts and handmade crafts, plus wine tastings from over 25 Maryland wineries. Smooth jazz music and delectable cuisine with family friendly activities are also part of the festival. This is a two-day outdoor celebration of the arts June 6th from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. and June 7th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Navy Marine Corp Stadium. Tickets range from $5-30. Paint Annapolis 2015 is part of the International Plein Air Painting Competition. The term, Plein air comes from the French ‘en plein air’, meaning ‘in open air’. Popularized by Impressionists who were particularly interested in the influence of changing light and the effects of light on color when outdoors, plein air painting is now flourishing as its own art form. Paint Annapolis is a five-day juried competition from June 8th – 13th with plein air painters from around the world sharing in the spirit and vibrancy of outdoor painting. Londontowne Symphony Orchestra
You are invited to a concert of "Mastery & Triumph" by the Londontowne Symphony Orchestra on June 6th at 7:30 p.m. This fine orchestra is growing in local appeal. After opening with Weber's magical Overture to Oberon, they will feature Mr. Rene Hernandez from the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra with Böhme's romantic Concerto for Trumpet, and conclude with Brahms' melodic Symphony No. 1. The LSO is conducted by Dr. Anna Binneweg, who is an Associate Professor of Music at Anne Arundel Community College and a backup conductor for the National Symphony in Washington DC. Chesapeake Chamber Music Festival

The 30th Annual Chesapeake Chamber Music (CCM) Festival, which will be held in Easton, MD from June 7th – 21st and will kick off its festivities with a celebratory event, “Celebrate 30,” on Friday, June 5th at the Tidewater Inn in Easton. Twenty-one artists will perform at this year’s Chesapeake Chamber Music Festival, including 18 returning artists, along with some newcomers to the Eastern Shore Festival scene. The Festival begins its two-week run, offering six concerts, five Artist Showcases, and two rehearsals open to the public at no charge. The 13 events are held in various Eastern Shore locations. Venues include such returning favorites as The Avalon Theatre, the Academy Art Museum, historic St. Paul’s Church in Centreville, Trinity Cathedral in Easton, and St. Michaels Middle-High School Performing Arts Auditorium. Two new venues, the state-of-the-art performing space at the Oxford Community Center and the Talbot Country Club, will feature special offerings. The Oxford Community Center showcase is being paired with a special optional fixed-price dinner afterwards at the nearby historic Robert Morris Inn.
Capital Jazz Fest
The 23rd Annual Capital Jazz Fest is June 5th through June 7th at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia. The festival will feature nearly 30 national acts on two big stages. The Pavilion Stage will feature Contemporary Jazz and Adult Contemporary artists, and the Symphony Woods Stage showcases Classic and Neo-Soul musicians. This year's talent lineup includes: India Arie, Chrisette Michele, Eric Benet, Meshell Ndegeocello, Kenny G, Michael McDonald, Rahsaan Patterson, George Clinton & Parliament/Funkadelic, and more.
