Great Frogs Winery in Annapolis hosts Wine and Wag for a Cause with Paws Pet Boutique. Sip wine, meet and mingle with dog lovers, learn about animal-related charities, and more. The event benefits the Animal Legal Defense Fund. Wine from Great Frogs Winery and food from Tastings Gourmet Market will be available for purchase. Dogs must be on leash. Carpooling encouraged.

A forward view of the way Blues is transitioning in today’s music scene, Kelly Bell is an honest poet and an outstanding singer with a lot to say.

This Sunday, August 30th, Annapolis is in for a rare treat: Telesma bassist and songwriter Bryan Jones performs some of his own music (drum and bass sonic textures) plus on-the-spot collaborative improvisations with Adrian Bond and Joanne Juskus. Bryan Jones is a beast on the bass and double bass using polyrhythmic structures while creating free flowing soundscapes that will bend your ear in an adventurous way. On drums, the inimitable Mike Kirby, drummer for Telesma and Voodoo Pharmacology. Pillowbook will also perform. Space is limited. Reservations are suggested for this show.

Unnatural Nature: Works by Howard and Mary McCoy

On view through September 30th, "Unnatural Nature" is the McCoy's ninth outdoor sculpture show at the Arboretum since 1999.
