The title of this cookbook is no exaggeration. I have used recipes from this book in many past columns like The Rib Eye and Seared Scallops with Bulgur and Parsley Oil from the Father’s Day Column. Max & Eli bring a humorous and down-to-earth style to cooking delicious, quality meals. For example, they have recipes to help with hangovers or recipes to prep for an all-night party. In a nutshell this book encourages the reader and home cook to eat well, enjoy your food, and to splurge every once in a while. It’s definitely worth the $20 or so that it costs on Amazon, and then some.
