Reynolds ties NCAA record as Navy beats South Florida, 29-17

Navy quarterback Keenan Reynolds led the Midshipmen to a 29-17 victory over the South Florida Bulls on Saturday, running for 117 yards and two fourth-quarter touchdowns, tying Montee Ball's career record of 77.

Running back Chris Swain ran for 131 yards and one touchdown on 23 carries and Dishan Romine gained 115 yards on six carries.

The Bulls led 17-16 until Reynolds' one-yard touchdown run in the middle of the fourth quarter. Navy's defense allowed 208 yards through the air but only forfeited 62 yards on the ground.

Navy improves to 6-1 and 4-0 in conference play. The Mids travel to face No. 16 Memphis next Saturday.
