Dr. Robert Greenfield is honored to have been selected as a Top Doc by What’s Up? Annapolis Magazine based on peer review from local medical professionals. This award also reflects the excellent quality care his office physicians, nurse practitioners, and staff provide to their patients.

Greenfield, M.D. and Associates, P.A. care for adults of all ages providing comprehensive preventive care evaluations and thorough medical examinations.  His practice emphasizes the importance of early detection for conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, lung disease, heart disease and cancer.  They care for patients with multiple complex medical issues while helping to navigate personalized options of care. They visit many patients when admitted to Anne Arundel Medical Center (AAMC), and on occasion visit them in their homes or assisted living facilities.  Greenfield, MD and Associates, PA have established relationships with specialists at AAMC, John Hopkins Hospital, University of Maryland, and Washington Hospital Center.

The philosophy of Dr. Greenfield’s practice is to always develop a warm doctor-patient relationship.  He truly enjoys learning about his  patients’ interests and values remaining accessible for healthcare.

Dr. Greenfield is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. He earned his Masters of Science in Physiology from Georgetown University and his Medical Degree from The George Washington University. He served as Chief of Medicine at AAMC and has also served on the Governor’s Council for the American College of Physicians Maryland Chapter. For more than twenty years, Dr. Greenfield has coordinated and also participated in an extensive year-long ACP Medical Knowledge group study Assessment Program at AAMC, which enables him to better help coordinate and manage the care of his patients.  Presently, he is also the Coordinator of the Medical Grand Rounds, a monthly educational program for the Medical Staff of AAMC.
