The parade will honor the memory of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and celebrate the community of Annapolis.

SWV (Sisters with Voices) is one of the world’s top selling female R&B groups. With their 1992 RCA debut, It’s About Time, the all-female trio SWV scored a string of top ten R&B hits such as “I’m so into You”, “Right Here”, “Downtown”, “Weak”, and “You’re Always on my Mind”. Among their list of honors were 11 Billboard Music Award nominations, and nominations for a Grammy, American Music Awards and The Source Award in 1993. Additionally, they won a Children’s Choice Award and a BET “Best of Video Soul” Award. Their fifth album Still will be released tomorrow, Friday, January 15th. They perform at Rams Head On Stage this Tuesday, January 19th at 8 p.m.

Miss Shirley’s Café Featured on Food Network’s Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives

Thursday, January 15th, 10 p.m.
Miss Shirley’s Cafe will be featured on Food Network’s highest rated show Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives! The episode entitled, Family Legacies will feature one of Corporate Executive Chef Brigitte Bledsoe's original menu items, Coconut Cream Stuffed French Toast and their Crab Cake Po’ Boy.
